On Thursday, May 7, Regulation 200/20 was filed with the Registrar of Regulations. Section 6 of that Regulation amends O. Reg. 82/20 by revoking s. 30 of Schedule 2 of O. Reg. 82/20, which provided as follows:
30. Residential construction projects where,
i. a footing permit has been granted for single family, semi-detached and townhomes,
ii. an above grade structural permit has been granted for condominiums, mixed use and other buildings, or
iii. the project involves renovations to residential properties and construction work was started before April 4, 2020.
That section was replaced with the following:
30. Residential construction projects where,
i. a footing permit has been granted for single family, semi-detached and townhomes,
ii. the project is a condominium, mixed use or other residential building, or
iii. the project involves renovations to residential properties and construction work was started before April 4, 2020.
Under s. 1(5) of O. Reg. 200/20, the change to s. 30 comes into effect Monday, May 11, at 12:01 am.
