Emily Sarah Hean

Bio

Emily has experience on a wide range of matters in the field of construction law, as well as in various other areas of law. Before summering and articling with the firm, she summered at a nonprofit legal organization, and has also held various research assistant positions. At the firm, Emily has participated in matters ranging from Small Claims Court files to complex arbitrations.

In law school, Emily participated in various moots as either a mooter or a coach; she also was the president of the University of Toronto chapter of the Animal Justice student organization, and wrote as a staff writer for the school newspaper. Through these various opportunities, Emily developed persuasive oral and written advocacy skills, as well as honing skills in research, communication, and leadership.

 Outside of the office, Emily has a love of reading, scrapbooking, and collecting vinyl records.
